Built from 1912 through 1950, Bossard Kunststätte was created by Swiss born German artist Johann Michael Bossard and the aid of his sculptress wife Jutta Bossard-Krull, who together turned their home into an ongoing art project that included, design, craft and architecture in a variety of styles and mediums. Located near Jesteburg, Germany, it is now open to the public. For more info visit bossard.de

I am absolutely in love with all the colors and unique artistic details of this magnificent interior. Somehow it reminds me of my favorite season, fall, and although I do not have a trip to Germany planned anytime soon, who knows, maybe now I will.

    i haven’t been here in so long, it’s terrible. i always love your picks, it’s so inspirational. i am not german, but as an austrian i still feel flattered you picked a german museum 🙂

    how’s the snow in NYC working out for you?

      To me good art is universally influential and culturally inspired.
      Well we had to cancel the 35 person party because of the snow. In the end it was worth all the trouble and I now have enough food to feed a small army of artists. 🙂

      I am liking your new layout although I do miss the little pic of you wearing the yellow balloons crown.
