    Imagine if thanksgiving in the US wasn’t just about food, if we had traditions that involved thanks-giving. Hm.

    A universally appropriate symbolic food of choice for a universal Thanksgiving might be corn. I believe corn has traditionally symbolized fertility and I believe what the world needs now is a symbolic representation of the potential that a state of fecundity brings.
